The Mellow Mug was filled with creativity, storytelling, and community as the Fulton County Public Library and Digital Wolf Network came together to host an evening of Open Mic Readings.
Writers and listeners of all ages gathered to share original work, including poetry, stories, essays, and other personal writing. The event created a welcoming space for local voices to step up to the microphone, share their creativity, and connect with others through storytelling.
With David Hazledine from the Literacy Department serving as the evening's MC, participants were guided through an inspiring night of readings and conversation. Some shared short pieces, while others took a little more time to bring their stories and ideas to life.
The Mellow Mug provided the perfect cozy setting for the event, with friends, family members, fellow creatives, and community members coming together to listen, support, and celebrate the writers who participated.
A special thank you to everyone who shared their work, attended, supported local creativity, and helped make the evening possible. Events like Open Mic Readings are a reminder that our community is full of stories waiting to be told.
