What a magical day tucked beneath the trees.

The weather felt like a gift all its own. Cool woodland air, gentle shade, no wind tossing tents around, and none of the heavy summer heat. Just a perfect day to wander through the woods.

People arrived dressed in wonderfully creative ways, bringing their own magic to the forest.

There was singing, music drifting between the trees, bartering and trading, barefoot walks along the paths, and pockets filled with newly discovered treasures and trinkets.

One of my favorite parts of this gathering is the art it inspires. I am endlessly grateful for the beautiful bones, flowers, feathers, and other small gifts that find their way into my hands and become something new. Every piece carries a story, a memory, or a bit of woodland magic.

This day always feels special. It is a place where creativity, generosity, and community gather beneath the leaves for a little while before returning to the wider world.
