Rochester, IN Native Julia Losch’s fascination for fragrance manifested the new upcoming business Hemp Happy Hustle. The lotion and oil company was officially launched in April of 2020, and is exclusively available at The Chameleon’s Closet in Rochester, IN.
Most of her products contain hemp oil, hence the name. “Hemp oil is not only fantastic for the inside, but for skin and hair as well. It's fantastic for all skin types, and it's non comedogenic which means it doesn't clog pores. It's very high in antioxidants and contains vitamins like A, C, and E,” says Losch.
“People want natural products. They want to know what they are putting in their bodies. My business is centered around natural ingredients for that reason.”
Not only is Hemp Happy Hustle focused on skin health, it is also focused on the environment, striving to reduce, reuse, and recycle. All its packaging and containers are recyclable, up-cycles, and in some cases, composted. “If it is not sustainable, ethically sourced or fair trade, I do not buy it,” Losch explained. Most of Julia’s ingredients are bought locally from small businesses, like her beeswax which comes from an ethically sourced bee farm.
