A native of Rochester, Christine grew up in the idyllic embrace of our small town in Indiana. She moved away as a teen, relocating to Florida, and later to New York City where she resided for twenty five years. While there she cultivated her interest in photography, specifically Street Photography, influenced by Stieglitz, Arbus and Maier.
She has a wide range of subjects, but has a special interest in mannequin photography. Her goal is to evoke human emotions and social commentary by imbuing the mannequins with lifelike qualities that present the viewer with a narrative that goes beyond the display of fashion.
