This video shows me preparing the Jason Myers magazine for print, a stage known as pre-press. Books print in increments of four, and this publication lands at 40 pages. This is not a catalog of polished pieces or a list of artist's credits but a layered look into the process, the act of doing, and the space where creativity takes hold. It is within this space of making that Jason Myers’ approach comes into view.
The stories weave personal narrative and shared experience. What follows are where ideas begin, the creative space, how they evolve, and what they become when community and collaboration take hold. I print with my local radio station’s owner, who also owns Office Hub in Shelbyville, IN.
